Eiffel Tower

As I mentioned before, seeing the Eiffel Tower was a top priority for my kids on our trip to Paris. Our place was a short walking distance away, so we saw it frequently (and took lots of pictures). After we checked in to our place, we rushed down to take a few pictures before it got dark.
We decided not to go to the top that first day, as it was soon dark and Anya's goal was to go to the top at sunset.

One of the days we were in Paris was cold, very rainy, and so cloudy that the top of the Tower was blocked by clouds.

Camille conquered her fear of heights to join us.
Anya doesn't often smile for pictures, so you can't tell how thrilled she is to be there. You have to trust me.
View of the Arc de Triomphe from the top.
The day we went up the Eiffel Tower wasn't a dramatic sunset day, but we officially were up there at sunset. See it in the distance?
I have to admit that I don't really like heights either, so I was happy to look out from this room with solid walls and windows.

  1. Your photos are breathtaking. Anya is quite the romantic, planning to be on the top of the Eiffel Tower right at sunset - whoever proposes to her has a high bar, haha.
